Discover the Warmth of Egypt & Make Lifelong Memories
A life well-travelled cannot be considered complete without at least one visit to Egypt! Egypt isn’t just home to the oldest and best-preserved historical sites on earth, the country offers diverse holiday experiences catered to your travel preferences. You can enjoy an immersive urban experience in Cairo and Alexandria, discover some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving sites in the world in the Red Sea, get a taste of life on the Nile on personalized Nile cruises, or curate your own desert adventure.
The energy, hospitality, and good humor of the Egyptian people are at the heart of any visit to Egypt, with sunny smiles etched onto the faces of nearly every person you will encounter. Expect multiple offers for homecooked meals, invites to weddings and parties, and a chance to make new friends as warm as the golden Egyptian sun.
Located in the northeast corner of Africa and the southwest corner of Asia, Egypt connects the two continents through the Sinai Peninsula, which acts as a land bridge.
The ancient Greeks called Egypt the “Gift of the Nile” as it remained one of the region’s major food producers for thousands of years. The Nile River crosses Egypt’s desert plateau, flowing from the southernmost borders of the country all the way through the Delta to the Mediterranean. Beyond the striking contrast of riverbed and desert expanse lie picturesque desert oases, colorful mountain ranges, and a diverse coastline.
Exploring Egypt’s rich landscape is the perfect way to connect with nature. You can enjoy bird-watching on the Nile in Aswan, dive among the stunning marine life of the Blue Lagoon in Dahab, or swim with dolphins in Marsa Alam.
If a quiet holiday surrounded by natural splendor is what you seek, experience life on an ecolodge in Siwa, go on a desert safari to see the stunning formations of the White Desert; explore one of the many natural protectorates, such as Nabq Bay, or simply luxuriate on the sandy white shores of the Mediterranean North Coast.
Craving an active holiday filled with outdoor fun? Go hiking in the breathtaking mountain ranges of Sinai on one of the many established trails near Nuweiba and Dahab, experience desert quad biking in Fayoum, or plan a desert camping trip in Ras Abu Galoum to marvel at the spectacular night sky! Ras Sedr, Dahab, Al-Gouna and Sharm al-Sheikh are also prime locations for kite and wind surfing. No matter what kind of outdoor adventure you desire, Egypt has the perfect itinerary for you.

Must Visit in Egypt
Egypt, the land of the Nile, ancient pharaohs, the Sahara, the pyramids, and the Red Sea.
Luxor East Bank
Walk grand avenues of ram-headed sphinxes into
Karnak’s forest of columns, then follow the illuminated processional way to
Luxor Temple by night. Reliefs, obelisks, and sacred lakes evoke millennia of devotion, political theater, and the annual Opet festival’s celestial spectacle.
Aswan and Abu Simbel
The Temple of Aswan and the colossal Temples of Abu Simbel on the shores of Lake Nasser are also must-sees on any visit to Egypt. Best known for the four iconic, colossal, seated statues that dominate the façade of Abu Simbel, monumental temples carved and cut into the mountain by King Ramesses II
The Nile from Cairo to Abu Simbel
Egypt is a country that has always honored the Nile. In Cairo, floating restaurants and traditional sailboats, or feluccas are a fun way to see the city lights or take in the sunset. Further south, there is no better way to explore the sites of ancient Egypt than onboard a Nile cruise.
Saqqara & Memphis
Egypt’s earliest pyramid complex, including Djoser’s Step Pyramid and finely carved Old Kingdom tombs. Nearby Memphis, capital, preserves statues of Ramses II. They trace the birth of monumental architecture, beliefs, and the artisans who pioneered pharaonic stone building.
Luxor West Bank, Valley of the Kings
Descend into painted tombs of pharaohs, from Tutankhamun to Ramses, where myths unfurl in starry blues and solar golds. Nearby, visit Hatshepsut’s terraced temple and the Colossi of Memnon. The desert hills cradle Egypt’s whispered, most intimate voices from eternity.
Alexandria
Mediterranean breezes meet layered history: the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Roman amphitheater, Qaitbay Citadel, catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, and café-lined corniche. Explore Greco-Roman echoes, literary legend, and cosmopolitan spirit in Egypt’s timeless port city.
Historic Cairo
Wander medieval lanes past mosques, madrasas, and khan markets. Marvel at the Citadel, Al-Azhar, Sultan Hassan, and Khan el-Khalili’s bustle. Don’t miss the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and the Grand Egyptian Museum’s treasures.
Siwa Oasis
Cross Sahara dunes to palm gardens, salt lakes, and mud-brick Shali. Visit the Oracle of Amun, Cleopatra’s Spring, and starry silence after sunset. Indigenous Amazigh culture, date harvests, and desert adventures create a tranquil escape far from the Nile.
White Desert & Farafra
Marvel at chalk-white hoodoos sculpted by wind into mushrooms, and phantom beasts. Camp under bright skies, explore Crystal Mountain, and soak desert stillness. The route through Bahariya and Farafra oases reveals geology, Bedouin lore and surreal landscapes.
Red Sea (Hurghada/El Gouna)
Dive or snorkel vibrant reefs, drift alongside turtles and rays, and unwind on sunlit beaches. Kitesurf lagoons, take boat trips, and enjoy relaxed dining. Offshore islands, reliable weather, and clear waters make an easy seaside complement to pharaonic sightseeing.
Sinai & Sharm el-Sheikh
Balance coral adventures with mountain spirituality. Explore Ras Mohammed’s marine park, snorkel the famed Blue Hole, then hike Mount Sinai for sunrise over granite peaks. St. Catherine’s Monastery preserves ancient manuscripts and mosaics amid stark desert beauty.

Must Do in Egypt
Each destination offers its own experiences and here are some "must do" activities to experience in Egypt!
Best Time to visit Egypt
Egypt is a year-round destination, but seasons shape the experience.
Winter (November–February) is prime: mild days, cool nights, and perfect sightseeing in Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan—expect more visitors and higher prices. Spring (March–April) brings warm, pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and lush river landscapes; it’s ideal for Nile cruises and desert excursions before heat builds. Autumn (October–early November) mirrors spring with comfortable temperatures and golden light—excellent for photography and temple time.
Summer (May–September) is hot, especially in Upper Egypt; plan early starts, long midday breaks, and sunset touring. The Red Sea coast stays breezier year-round, with excellent diving and snorkeling in summer thanks to warm water and clear visibility. Note that Ramadan dates shift annually; travel remains rewarding, but some services run shorter hours, and evenings come alive after sunset.
Bear in mind that each season has its own particularities, and that a non-advised season may well correspond perfectly to your specific needs.
